I cooked some'en: Guarded pork chops

Still on graveyards. Doreen was going to fry some nice bone in chops! :pinch: Not if I can help it. Got up just a little early and fired the Small. The raws guarded by my Dad's Lab Mink. She stays with us a lot when I'm working nites to keep wife company. Everything still lined up to pick Auron up at Dallas Tuesday! Think I'll be able to trust him to do this for a while?!! :laugh:
Started out on raised grill then finnished over coals.
Still getting a little zukinie out of the garden as well as tomatoes.

I thought about you today while leading a benefit poker run for around 90 miles. It was intense hot and muggy but, as long as we rode we were OK. Cindy said it was 15 bikes and we raised $210 for the lady who was sick with pancreas problems. We also raised $81 from the 50/50 tickets we sold for a dollar. The winners of both turned over their winnings to Sue the lady in need. We then had a big cook out at a friends house and went home for the cool down and a quick nap. Hope your riding some. Tim

Sounds like a good time for a GREAT cause! Makes you count your blessings doesn't it?! Looks like that little ride to Hot Springs is going to be about it this year. May run down to Natataches MS. for H.O.G rally in a couple weeks if pup is doing well and then will take cage to Jefferson Tx. for Boo Run in Oct. Normally put 15-20k on bike every year but things just haven't worked out this one. Course not complaining about the pup. If he was a Pug I would throw him on back and ride but at 70-90 lbs grown that want work!! :laugh:
