Morning All:
About a month ago we did some herb coated Salmon...tonight I did tilapia...turned out very nice too!
Here is the fish ready to go with the limes to cook it on...fresh herbs included basil, dill, cilantro, parsley, rosemary mixed with some EVOO, juice from one lime and a sprinkle of a Key Lime Rub...

also some corn on the cob...corn had been on for about 20 minutes with dome temp of 375 when added the bed of lime slices and fish...

didn't flip the fish...just let it cook for about 10 minutes, internal temp was 145 to 150 in the thickest part...very tasty...

with the tilapia being such a mild fish the herbs & lime really gave it some great flavor!

We have it to grill we just need some one to come over and do the deed. Cheap. Tim -
That looks delicious, and perfectly cooked.

Jay, looks fantastic. You've got me & the wife hooked on tilapia with the lemon slices method. Love the lime & herb idea, this is next on the fish list. Looks like it would be perfect with a nice cold beer & a squeeze of lime, thanks for the ideahappy in the hut

Morning Tim:
Thanks! Now get out there and cook some...don't wait for the next time I head to Illinois! Granted you're not "directly" on my path home, but may have to make the side trip just to cook you some fish! :laugh:Have a GREAT day!

I would love some Walleye or some kind of sun fish like brim or crappie... :P
Don't tease me if you can't please me. :woohoo: -
Jay ... that tilapia looks great. We cook it often and it is a good 'blank canvas' but our pieces are usually much smaller than what you have there. Looks great!!
