The dates are Sept, 10-11 and sure could use some help with a show of hands here and a short list of what you might be bringing for planning purposes so we can come up with a layout. Jacqui, the owner of http://www.tuckawayshores.com/ is working on a larger tent and I'll be bringing 3 eggs, 1 easy up and 3 tables.
Best guess since there in no registration but we have the whole resort reserved is there will be 50 to 60 of us staying on the property and another few dozen coming by for the day or staying somewhere close. So if you would post here what you are bringing it would be a great help for everyone thats going to start setting up on Thursday.
Also for those flying in or limited space to carry things let me know what you might need and I'll do my best to make it happen. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

    Morning Pat:

I plan on bringing my Small and it's table. Plus another table (3'x6'). No easy up because it sounds like we will have enough of those. I can bring the Mini too if you think we will need it. Looking forward to some FUN in the SUN!

    Have a GREAT day!

Thanks Jay, just trying to get a feel for how much space we will need. I think Bubba Tim and Little Chef might start setting up on Thursday and I plan on stopping by after work.

    Pat,
Do we really have to plan ahead?
Planning ahead will promote an easy fest with no major problems!
I’m bringing Big Daddy the large and Piglet the mini mean green grilling machine.
One easy up, two tables, and coolers full of beverages and raw food. If the Gator hunt goes well some Gator too.
I will also have some Apple wood and Hickory wood, cut a bunch yesterday intending to bring to the Pat Fest and will give away to the attendees.
Almost forgot but yes KayNOcook will be with me too.
Looking so forward to some fun times at the beach.
    Seee ya Thursday.

I will bring my Mini. It will be available for anyone who wants to use it also. My small is being enjoyed by my daughter while away at school.

    Morning Pat:

We are still planning on coming over on Thursday, but probably won't get there until late afternoon (around 4:00pm if I were to make a guesstimate at this time).

    Have a GREAT day!

Hi Pat! I hope to be there late Thursday night landing around 9:30 pm, unless you have tornadoes in Melbourne again.

I WILL NOT be lugging my rice cooker this time. I haven't a clue what I'll be making. If Jay, Bubba, and some others want to do a brisket, I'll buy a brisket when I get down there. Although that may put an egg out of commission for a long time and thus may not be feasible. Maybe I'll stick with seafood. After all, I plan on catching one heck of a big fish! :)

If anyone needs anything from Ohio, just give me a yodel!

If you bring too much wood Al will end up making a raft for the pool

To add to Pat's post. Jacquie (little Red) will be providing a 20 x 40 tent for us to eat and lounge in to get out of the sun. Thanks Little Red! :woohoo: If you have an EZup, please bring it to cook under. Folding tables are in need as are chairs. We will be bringing 2 EZ ups, 3 tables and some chairs. In the BGE dept, two larges with all the toys. If anyone, who is flying in, needs anything special, give us a call. BTW, I will be making a run to RD the day prior so should you need any protiens (hangers, wings, etc)holler at me. We will be arriving Thur am to start the set up. I believe Poot and Sabrina will also get in early Thursday. Looking forward to a another drinking-eating fest. Below is a slide show from last year.

    Hi Pat,

Mickie and I are planning to be there Thursday afternoon. I will not be able to bring an EGG, but should have pretty much everything else. Since this will be my first cook at a fest, I will probably do some planked salmon, something I am pretty comfortable with.
I will be glad to help with any setup, or pick up anything you might need on the way over. Just let me know :) :woohoo:

  • this is my 1st attempt at posting, so here goes. Tuckaway is sooooooo eggcited about hosting our 2nd. annual mini (Pat) fest & it's 1st time ever we're fully booked with "one" group (whata group it is!). FYI anyone needing an egg, Tuckaway has an XLG at your disposal. PS, Mainegg, save me one of those buns (w/nuts) & we'll talk extra discount.
