Working graveyards tonight so some quick stuffed chicken breast stuffed with ham, swiss and a litle rice stuffing all wrapped in bacon was on order. Tossed on a stick of aundui just for luck!! ;) Indirect at 300 for about 35 min.

Looks like the Czech pup is a done deal unless the plane goes down in the Atlantic! Will pick Auron up Tuesday it looks like in Dallas! We are so excited! As a lot of my friend hear on forum know we have had some hard times around the place this last year as well as been trying to get a working GSD for over a year. Looks like maybe our luck is changing. Einee Mennie asked on my last post what I planned to do with this dog. Well for one I will not worry about some one stealing my Eggs near as much and plan on using bill's arm as a training device for Auron if bill will come visit!  Actually will train him in Schutzan and get at least a Sch1 on him. He has the genetics to do anything I want. Its just how far I want to take him. Hear are a couple pics last week of him in the Czech Republic. I think he will be a fine fellow but then I'm parshall!LOL

Deane, that is a nice dinner, but I've got my eyes glued to the pup! You can be sure I won't be stealing any of your eggs.

He'll figure out what smoke means real quick I figure. Called breeder in Czech yesterday. She said he was a real chow hound so to speak. Loads his belly up around 8:00 when they feed them and sleeps in his crate all night long!!LOL

Thanks Misfit. Yea he goes back to Tom Van't Leeftaalhof on both sides. A dog known for great drives but also a great "off switch". Just one of many such dogs in his background. If I can do 1/2 what this pup should be able to do I will be happy.

Great looking grub, as usual, and a fine looking pup !!!

I don't know what Schutzan is, but think it may mean guard dog. The liability that goes along with that scares me a little. Will he be completely closed in by a yard fence or be allowed to roam the property?

We had a gaggle of geese on the farm. Nobody would show up without them raising hell. Also, for a while, I had a sign on my front gate that said "Rattlesnakes For Sale". Some of the locals wouldn't come within 2 miles of my property, even after I took the sign down.

  • Congrats on the dog! The food looks good 2.
  • Mightyfine cook and mightyfine pup.

Methinks he will be a great persimmon fetcher B)

Ya mon. He will fetch some persimmon and give you that look that says "I know what you do with these sticks - fire up that green thing, put some persimmon on, and lets make some mightyfine eats" :)

Maybe you should put a sign up on the cookshack - Perro Bravo! :)
