Looks fantastic, Zip. I've done something similar, by taking my Mom's fantastic apple pie recipe and making mini pies in muffin tins. Good finger-food dessert for a party. I really like the look of your freeform pie-ettes.

Thanks for the inspiration to try something new!! I wrapped a couple of Granny Smiths in crescent roll dough and hit them with cinnamon and raw sugar. They were great.


I cooked them at 300 for about 50 minutes, but I think I should have gone 350 for about 35 minutes. Bread got done, apple was a little over cooked. ...But tasted great.
