Well, here is this week's update on 'The Original Canadian Eggfest' held this year at Hernder Estate Winery in St. Catharines, ON.

We only have 4-6 cooking spots left. Cooks are free for the two day event, plus some (if not all), your food needs have been donated by sponsors.
If you have already signed up to Cook, I'll be sending you an email next week about who you are Cooking with and how to reserve your Sponsored Foods.

Cookn Biker and WWSis are teaching Eggin 101. That alone should be worth the cost to come ;)

Little Steven is cookin with Ripnem. :woohoo: If you don't get your entertainment value from these two, I'll give you your money back! (LS has 'em by an inch ya know)

We still need some volunteers to do some luggin for set up Friday and tear down Saturday. In you are interested, shoot me an email. We'll comp you admission as well.

Registration seems to have cooled off. (Must be a busy Summer) We've been sitting stead at about 100-120 for a while now. But hopefully it will start going up soon. Originally we thought 1000. Now 500 is our goal. Last year we had 440.

We got us a great Sponsor in Lakeshore Living.
We got an awesome host in Hernder Estates Winery.
We got a two day event, (Meet and Marinade and Fest)
We got 3 live bands, 4 if you count me on the Pipes :pinch:
We got some amazing Cooks. From California to New Brunswick!
We got gift bags valued at at least $60.
We hope to have T Shirts available for sale.
We will have Winery Tours.
We will have Beer and Wine available at $4 per glass.
(It's Ontario folks....you can't BYOB sorry)
We will have a BGE store.
We will have a charity raffle and for $20 a ticket, you could go home with an XL BGE!

The Host Hotel is offering free shuttle service to the Winery on Saturday Fest Day. They have also extended our Group Booking Deal until 08/31.

The Winery is clearing land, laying new parking lot, supplying us Eggheads with everything we could ever need to show off and learn with our passion.

If the weather goes in our favour, (That's right it's favour. Cause that's how we spell it.) we could have another Fest for the record books!

Hope you all can come to the party!

Check the website listed below.

The end.

Looking forward to attending (registered a few weeks ago) Just got my Large Egg last week after a 7 week back order delay.

Getting lots of great tips from this forum and I'm sure I will get more at this event.

This will be my first Eggfest, I'm sure not the last.

    Molly,

The agony bags played well are just short of unbearable. Tim is not that good.

Thanks for the update Tim. You guys did a fantastic job promoting it in Pittsburgh, too bad potential visitors are deterred by the new passport regulation. Apparently the Caribana attendance dropped this year partly for the same reason.
