OT: Woohoo, finally found another job.

Well this started out being a woohoo.
I landed another job but once again it was short lived.
First day on the job, my boss pointed out a huge pile of sand and said I need to get this cleaned up. I was given three helpers. My thoughts were that this should be an easy task and would end up being a first step in a long and needed job for me. My only concern was being able to communicate with my helpers, none of them being able to speak English very well.
My boss left me with the task and I decided to handle it professionally. I gathered my 3 subordinates...
I pointed to the Italian guy and said you are in charge of sweeping.
I told the Scotsman he is in charge of shoveling.
And lastly, the Chinese guy, you are in charge of the supplies.
I told them I have to leave for a little bit and I expect you guys to have this done or at least mostly done when I get back in a few hours.
I went into the shack and got to working on reports and setting up some spread sheets and work orders.
A few hours had passed and my boss comes into the shack and asks how things are going. I said great and went over some of the paperwork I had finished. My boss was impressed. I am feeling pretty good about now and said lets go check out my crew.
Arriving at the project my heart fell to the floor. The pile was untouched, I yelled and asked what is going on. I put each of you in charge of a simple task and nothing has been done.
I asked the Italian why didn't you sweep any of the spreading sand up into the pile?
The Italian said, "I no hava no broom. You saida to the Chinese fella that he a wasa in a charge of supplies, but he hasa disappeared and I no coulda finda him nowhere."
I turned to the Scotsman and said "And you, I thought I told you to shovel this pile."
The Scotsman looking lost said, "Aye, ye did lad, boot ah couldnay get meself a shoovel! Ye left th' Chinese gadgie in chairge of supplies, boot ah couldnay fin' him either."
I am getting so angry at this point I stormed off to the pile of sand, looking for the
Chinese guy... Nowhere to be found I was just about to begin yelling. Just then, the Chinese guy leaps out from behind the pile of sand and yells...
"SUPPLIES!"
