OK - In early June I went to the Redwoods in N.Calif then Oregon Coast, Washington St., British Columbia on my first (& last?) 3 week vacation ever... Awesome and HIGHLY Recommended. Three of those nights I made Fresh (right off the boat) Chinook Salmon on a Coleman Stove, just wishing I had my BGE. Anyway it was still incredibly awesome and I'm left w/ great irreplaceable memories..

Well back in ATL I see that we have Wild Sockeye Salmon (not quite as fresh - but hey), so I've made it at least 5 times in July and again on Aug 1... I've been using Soy Sauce, Lime, ginger/garlic/onion powders, fresh ground pepper as a marinade. Cooking it direct on a raised grid at 400-425 or so... Skin side up on a oiled grid, then flip after 4 min and cook until flaky... Just awesome. Here are some pics...
