Any chance you could do an IP cross reference for the user posting:

I don't really care that they are trying to impersonate me but this is a family forum and the above statements are WAY out of line. I was sanctioned for far less.

I admit I can be a little edgy but I never went even close to that far.

    Yes, you may indeed tend toward the "reactive" side at times, but I've seen also that you've been provoked at times. This is usually the case. Some of our members can be a bit "reactive" too. Sometimes things said in print get misinterpreted. Usually, the least said, the easiest mended -- I think it was my grandma that used to say that; and, it might be added these days, especially on the Internet.

    We don't like "sanctioning" anybody -- perhaps it would be better if I re-enabled your profile so that you could post as you instead of posting as a guest. Then nobody could impersonate you. I'd be pleased to do that provided I don't end up regretting it -- deal?

    That is very kind of you. I have to say, you've stayed pretty classy - I appreciate that.

    You have more experience with this than I do so I'll go with your lead. I thought the 'ignore guest post' function you added was quite clever and perhaps gave some much needed distance between my posts and those that are holding a grudge and going out of their way to start something. It would be nice to be able to go back and correct posts that have poor spelling and/or grammar.

    Your call - what do you think?

    I would prefer to keep Tweev-tip as a handle. I don't think a different handle would be much of a disguise for long anyway.
