Two nights ago I made a couple hoddock fillets on SBGE. I went direct, raised at 400*. Drizzled a little EVOO on top and sprinkled with DP Shakin'the Tree. I must say it's one of the best fish dinners i've made on the egg. This was our second time making haddock, and the first time was just as good. This will be my "goto" fish on the egg. Very easy to cook, doesn't fall apart, just put in on for about 10 mins no flipping. I LOVE IT! I've tried tuna (that was awful, i think i overcooked though), Salmon, hallibut, rockfish, mahi-mahi, cod, tilapia, and a variety of other fish. And i've tried them numberous ways, ceder planked, in a skillet, normal grid, raised grid, etc... This has been by far our favorite. I even like eating the skin, which on most fish (like salmon) I don't like. I'm not a big fish eater, but both times making haddock i've been extremely impressed, and wishing i had made more. Sorry, no pics, just thought i'd share...So what's your goto fish?
