Natural Planked Angus Short Ribs

Rain stopped for a little while.....but the sky's still menacing after the hurricane...............
Fired the Mini & tossed some Angus Certified Short Ribs..................seared at 550* & cooked at 350*..........................................until medium rare inside...........................................
The Ribs looked like a Natural Plank they pulled beautifully....
Plated with a Chile Verde (Anaheim) Salad & Conde Bean Soup with black beans. it was really good........................
We had my sister in law Cristina visiting, she just left for Phoenix where she is studying her postgraduate. She said she liked it .............Valeria looks satisfied.

TKS Molly, Raining cats & dogs now........emptied a full jacuzzi (about 28") just after the Hurricane, looking at it now....its at least 7"full with this afternoon rains.....I don't want any more water Molly....fed up with it.....been reading, watching the football...hey Holland!!!! & just managed to cook these on time......

TKS Dale. the beast left a lot of destruction mainly in Monterrey, we are south & the rain is still here......10"of it so far after the hurricane which dropped 28"on us .....never seen so much of it

TKS Ross, Wish the rain would go away, whole towns are getting flooded by damss being at top capacity & having to be emptied into rivers, never seen so much rain in my life.

Al, I bought it many years ago, its an old style wrought iron water holder base for washing hands just removed the basin on top, A plant holder would do the trick also I suppose. Do you have any mexican market nearby? Ask them sure they'd know where to find them there.

Didn't get the chance this time. The tropical storm didn't help either. The main reason for the trip was a memorial for my SO's late father. Spread his ashes in the ocean off Rasta's point. -
