Hit four WalMarts today, and not a single bag of RO Lump to be had. Saw 4 bags few weeks ago that were pretty broken up, but left them on shelf. Asked clerk, said they are ordering but none getting delivered right now   :(

I will NEVER again let wife or friends intimidate me when looking in my garage at 8 or 10 bags of RO!!! Also, the best RO lump I found was in very early spring before folks started grilling - still on pallet and lots of big pieces!!!

Next year, 30 bags, carefully stacked, and inventoried weekly!

Have a great rest of 4th!!!!

Ribs and sausage tonight (with one of my standby brands of lump :pinch: )

I feel your pain! One of our local Walmart's stocks RO during "grilling season", but tucked away in back. Hello, it is grilling season here all year long! I usually buy all they have out except one bag so they know to order more.

I know the pain and when it happened to me nearly 10 years ago I swore NEVER again! My panic alarm goes off when I get down to only 360 pounds on hand. I then run out like a druggie looking for a fix. As of right now I have 640 pounds on hand. My wife no longer shakes her head!

Just bought 6 bags of RO at my local Wal-Mart in Houston. Plenty in stock.

    Must be a local thing.

  • Been using the same - I let Sam's store it for me. :)

Pops pretty good when lighting with a weed burner - otherwise it is mightyfine, especially at 14.87 for 40#. :)

... if they don't have it in stock they can order it and it takes 3 to 4 days. Smith Food King out in this part of the country.

Kroger Lump is private labeled RO according to the local rep for RO.

Odd. My local W.M.'s are chocked full or R.O. Must be a local issue. Bust the Garden Dept. managers chops about this. Should not be happenin on the 4th. Sorry for your situation. :(
