Working all weekend and brackets on the Hog's heat shield broke off. Go the trip coming up so ran it over to my ridding buddy who I cook for all the time who's a oil refinery weilder. Hay if he can weild on a live gas line he can do this!!LOL Dropped it off and came home and tossed these on.

Just a couple thick slices of loin with bacon wrapped around. Tossed on Small with raised grill and presimmon at about 300 till still "loose" in the center.

Wrapped in foil while I cleaned up real quick and were perfect. Still a little pink in center and just perfect. Need to loose about 10 lbs the next 2 1/2 weeks so note the lack of cheese, bread or dressing on salid. Only one loin as well! Jake approval and discovered he likes limon!

JL, that first picture says to me, "Sit down and relax....have a drink. You're in for one heck of a loin steak!" :) Hope your hog is back soon.

Looking good,Dean. I think Jake approves....how's Little Bit doing? I've been away from the forum for a while playing "Nurse Judy". The Chicken has really kept me hopping.

Good luck on the weight loss! I would think you will lose it being away from your egg. And I too am waiting for a Little Bit report. Jake keeping his eye on her?

Not to worry Pat. When I die I don't want people to look in my coffin and think "He looks so healthy and full of live" I want them to think "Dang that boy looks like he used up everything he had and then borrowed a little on a short term loan!!"

Mrs. Hen and Fluffy ,Bit is really doing well considering. She is back to eating pretty good and acting her old self. Problem is I am still having to give her a pill every morning along with a dropper full of antiboitic and 2 droppers full of another kind every afternoon. The week long dose we gave her a month and half ago did not clear it all up and it came back hence the kidney attack so vets want to make sure its wiped out this time. For some reason she has taken to no longer enjoying my company at 2:30am when she see's the light coming to the "cat pen". Don't know why? Would think anyone would enjoy having a light shinned in your face, grabbed by the back of the neck and a pill shoved down your throat followed by a squirt of nasty stuff that makes you foam up like a rabid mountian lion!! We have been taking her out to the "cat pen" when we bring Andy in at night. Its cool for her and gets her outside where she likes. Afraid to turn her loose outside till we are threw with the meds. She will stay at vets on trip and they will run more test then to see how we ended up on kidneys.
