What's with the "Polls"

Why are they showing all the time on the left side of the forum...I can't get rid of them without closing the whole left side....clicking on the names makes them go away, but as soon as you open a post they come right back....kind of annoying in my opinion..

Those polls have been up long enough IMO

The polls have been moved to the bottom of the left side.
Hopefully they will not be so "annoying" there but can still be seen buy those interested (if any). -

I personally like that a lot better...Thank You...or give each user the option to see them or not..I thought "polls" used to be in one of the pulldown menus, but don't see it there anymore..
