I have always been of the opinion that naming inanimate objects was rather a ridiculous idea. My large egg is, well, the large. And the mini is, naturally enough, the mini. If I ever get a small, guess what I will call it.
However, I just watched an Alton Brown Good Eats show on pizza and may have to finally name something. He calls his favorite pizza peel, "Emma". Now THAT, I can deal with.
He made no mention of John Steed. Maybe that's what he calls his gasser.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

When I got my new Volkswagen Beetle it came with a birth certificate stating length, weight, date of completion, port of arrival, etc. They asked me for it's name. Being green I named it FROGGER. So you are not alone.

Been a while since I've seen a picture of Emma, thanks for posting it. That was a great show, to bad I can't think of the name of it. I'm sure some one will post it. Wasn't much they couldn't handle.

In the re-make of The Avengers Uma Thurman was hot.....but not as hot as Diana Rigg. -
Thats how I knew who Emma Peel was. Uma did a pretty good job, but I am not familiar with the original.

Avengers, ah yes. Didn't think I would ever forget that name. Thanks for the post.
