Anyone make their own wood chunks/chips

So you basically have spent most of your life doing things to improve, protect, save and care for other peoples lives?

I use the non-rotted parts of fallen limbs from my yard (white oak, silver maple) all of the time. BTW, a Black and Decker Alligator Lopper (a cross between an electric chainsaw and lopper)does an excellent job of cutting up smaller branches into chunks, and is safer than an axe or chainsaw.
