Spring Chicken

Had a craving for some blueberry muffins. Had a box of blueberry muffin mix that looked like it needed eat'n so I started getting stuff ready. It was then that I saw my Aebleskiver pan and decided to do something different.
Shirley Small looked bored so I tapped her for the project. Didn't take her long to get up to the 425° the recipe called for.
Here's the raws...
First batch with blueberries on top
Here they are flipped over
Second batch was better. I mixed the blueberries in.
Very easy and very tasty.

I bought my abelskiver pan off eBay if I recall. I think it was like $6 with about $6 S&H. Cast iron, well built and fun to cook with.

They look great ! Reminds me of Grandma Kuykendall making them for me when I was a kid ... many, many years ago. Thanks !
Bring on the powdered sugar or maple syrup. :cheer: -
Those are always tasty. We put in red bean paste; breakfast and dessert at the same time.
