Here is our first attempt at making Pastrami... it was AMAZING!!!!

I have a frozen corned beef brisket waiting for that. It looks great. What recipe did you use?

I'll go along with all the rest and ask what you used for a brine and what your method was. I assume just cracked black pepper and coriander seed for the crust?

Your pastrami looks wonderful. I love pastrami on pumpernickle with a ton of mustard, or a reuben.

We just planted a ton of cabbage this weekend, so I suspect there is a lot of corned beef in my future for this summer. And if I'll be corning beef, I might as well smoke some of it for pastrami. Great stuff, isn't it? -
Used Third Eye's rub / pastrami recipe... Black pepper, granulated garlic, paprika, etc.... Tasted great!!
