WHAT A GAME!!!. . .and now everyone can quit calling the caps choking dogs. ...the habs may be one of the best coached teams i've seen in a long time. .. and it goes beyond just having the hot goaltender. .. . it goes to playing that box defense, keeping 3 guys back all the time, playing responsibly in their own end, packing 5 guys between the blue lines, etc. etc. .. and for the big deal the media made about OV only scoring 5 goals and 5 assists in his series against the Habs and semin getting no goals and 1 assist against the Habs .. the vaunted savior of all things canadian hockey, capt crybaby himself had a grand total of 1 goal and 4 assists and was a -2 in this 7 game series. ...he was totally non-existent for 7 games... and malkin had 1 goal and 2 assists in the series....so this was most definitely more about the Habs than it was about either shitsburgh or washington. ..

hats off to all you canadiens fans and your team....they can make a hell of run here. . .i haven't seen anything like this in a long time!!!

i agree 100% steven....they have played absolute shutdown defense. .. i thought the way shitsburgh like to play from behind the net on out would give them trouble (as opposed to the way washington likes to play from the blue line down). .. but they adjusted beautifully and bottled up cindy and staal and kennedy adn the rest of them. ...just great coaching and system play all the way around....forced all the shots way outside....and halak was just outstanding when he had to be ... .

yep, a little bit ... .they are playing great.. .they have earned both of these series wins. .. .
