Newbie Question Regarding BB Ribs

The idea of "boiling" ribs before cooking them is not needed when making ribs. Just put on some rub, let them sit for an hour or two, and put them on the EGG at 250, indirect.

Also with a moniker of Rib Expert I hope you knew that. Sorry if I sounded rude. I don't mean to but when I read a recipe that says "boil" the ribs first, boils my ARSS off.

I use a heavy dose of "get the heck out of here" to boil ribs. We all know you're just screwing around. But if your not, just plain water and apple wood chunks. That way they get some smoke flavor.

Mike, do you soak the apple chunks before you add them to the water?
