Thanks, I pre-baked the bacon in the oven but next time I will use the micro-waveable stuff, it should be far less messy and won't heat up the kitchen like regular bacon

I've been pre-cooking bacon raised direct on the egg, like on the asparagus in my OKC post. Works great, the veggi's are done as the bacon gets crispy. And there's no mess.

I did it in the oven, on a cookie sheet, heated up the kitchen, didn't like it. I will check out your way and try that, thanks
