Wondered what to do with pulled pork leftovers. These were awesome. I am wondering no more. I took pictures before anybody knew they were done. There would have been no chance otherwise!! They disappeared by the half plateful.
First higher heat cook...

First platesetter/non BGE stone cook...

The tortilla was crispy. There was mild spice to the taco cheese and there was subtle smoke from the pork and the Egg.

I now realize a close up of the ooey gooey inside would have been nice but it would also have been life threatening due to trampling.
Cooking on the Egg in the morning...priceless.

Awesome! I'm glad you tried them!!!
Did you have them for breakfast or otherwise?
They were a hit?

Looking good. I have never made them before. I think we have unleashed a true egghead. Good for you. Tim

Looking good. They are good on BGE love to make them. Chicken Quesadillas, Black beans, Corn and Pico De Gallo Salsa.

I fixed them for breakfast. Scrambled egg, PP, Taco cheese, red and green bell pepper. I will no doubt adjust the recipe next time. It is like so many firsts you immediately think how you can improve them. I certainly liked the basic concept and it is one I can build on. Thanks for the idea.

I have a tendency to agree, unleashed indeed. Its like I have been waiting and preparing for this versatile tool my whole life. The list of things that can't be done on the Egg is a whole lot shorter than the list of things you can do. Diggin' it here in Seattle.

Now THAT'S the meal I would have liked to serve. But if you caught any of my post yesterday you know that the sides were an after though. I need to think in full meals instead of entrees.

Keep it up, Q. There are a alot of things you can make with pulled pork leftovers, I made pizza with it, enchiladas, and even potstickers!

FaithHappily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

One really good thing this forum does is stretch the imagination of what is possible. Thanks Faith. I figured out, all by myself, that what is good for pork leftovers probably works for chicken, too. Waste not, Want not.
