Hot Dog & Hamburger Buns

Have baked both type buns using pans from King Arthur.
Both turned out great. The next time I will remove the hot dog buns from the pan after browning the bottoms and brown the tops. The recipe I used for the hot dog buns was posted by Michelle, from Texas. The hamburger bun recipe came with the pan. Sorry guys, I'm not into photos.

Congrats! Aren't they fun/rewarding to make at home?
I'm not sure which bun recipe comes with the burger bun pan; I don't have it but use some English muffin rings to help shape the buns during the rise (I take them off for baking). If you like experimenting with flavors, the seeded burger buns, which use "Everything Bagel and Bread topping" mixed in and on top of the buns is quite tasty. I left out the optional onion powder when I made them.

I also used the recipe for Beautiful Burger Buns to make little slider buns. That recipe gets a lot of favorable reviews on another board I follow (where it's known as "Moomie's Beautiful Burger Buns" for the original author.

And sadly, our motorhome is still at the repair shop so not only did we miss OKC, I don't think we'll make Texas this year, either.
I do NOT recommend the experience of having a 50 x 100 foot steel building collapse on your RV.... :(
