Well, that's right but... This chicken recipe is an old favorite and comes from Weber. The end product, however, is vastly different being cooked on an Egg. The chicken is done in the middle and tender and juicy. Food from the egg is harder to photograph after it is done. I suppose my primary purpose is to cook for my family and practice my photograhy with... wild flowers maybe.

I learn something each cook.

Chicken Marinade--
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
pepper to taste
Combine ingredients and pour over chicken pieces in a ziploc bag. Refrigerate 6 hours to overnight. Baste chicken while cooking. I have never basted them. -
I dunno....that chicken looks a little underdone to me  :woohoo:
I like the marinade, I'm sure it's good.
Your plate setter looks so clean. You might want to buy a deep dish pizza pan to use as a drip pan, it will keep it from getting all gunked up.
Thanks for sharing the marinade recipe!Knoxville, TN

Some likes it under done. But seriously the simplicity of the marinade reminds me of a post recently about a ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
