I just can't wait to go to the Waldorf Eggfest and get my new Egg! I bought a large egg and I am just tickled to death....I have wanted one for sooooo long! A friend I work with has one, so I went to see his...and that was all she wrote! I am so excited, I'm trying to plan what to cook first...tips, recipes & suggestions on accessories, all would be appreciated. Thank you for listening.

Many will point you to an indirect cook and spatchcock chicken. Indirect is very forgiving and chicken in pieces and parts or whole is a pretty easy cook, read pretty hard to screw up. I am doing a favorite chicken cook tonight as we speak. I am new at this, just like y'all. Mid range 300-400° is a good break in temp. Lets you get going.

I am having the same thing. I will pick up my LBGE on the first of May at he Austin Eggfest. I called the ceramic grill store for help and they answer all my question. They are very helpful.I went and bought the WOO3 set up. I order it on Tuesday morning and it was setting at the house on Wednesday afternoon.
Happy egging -
I agree with Manfred.
To do it all over again, I would have the adjustable rig and spider. Instead of the platesetter. Well, now I have both and should probably get another large to keep the peace.
