Beli, I can't wait, I'll be eating one of those in about 17 days!
Hope Charlie is enjoying himself. You should be over there with him! -

Sorry Mike, I hate to be rude to Beli, but my nephew will surely dispose of any left over steak....no matter how many kilograms I order.

I'm evious of Charlie right now. Del and I need to take another trip to Italy. We've been to Florence but it was on a tour. I'd like to do one that focuses more on the cuisine.

He's a very handsome young man, thanks for sharing Beli. -

Anne, I was very lucky to have my first Bistecca Fiorentina with him a few years ago...In a restaurant right in front of the Cathedral.....spent hours there.....of course we did the Uffizi, the Accademia, & The Pitti in a few minutes...  We rented a nice villa for 800 dlls/week right on top of a mountain near Monte San Savino in Arezzo..can't go wrong with www.vacationrentals.com

YESSIR!We crossed the bulls with our Angus and Hereford (which aren't really native) but found that they were too big to breed to our native cattle. Many calving problems. However they bred well with larger crossbreeds such as Brangus or any Brahma cross.I think the breed they originated from is the Zebu which originated in India. They are a close relative to the Brahma.Charolais and Limousin are other European breeds that have been used for extensive crossbreeding here.
