don't want to become a bleu cheese snob

Based on Maytag being mentioned most often in the responses I bought a wedge today and I have to agree that is good creamy bleu cheese! Curious of the price others pay - mine was $19.99 a pound. I don't see much blue at all in the wedge I bought unlike the other brands I've been accustomed to. The store re-packages the Maytag wheel into quarter pound wedges and the wrapper conceals the cheese. Did I just draw the wrong wedge or is Maytag not streaked blue?

that's my thought too - wonder if mine tastes different than the streaked parts. Kind of a crap shoot because all the re-packaged wedges are wrapped with concealing paper.
