Spring Chicken Festival - Gainesville, Georgia

Hey, just spreading the word about a fun little festival in Gainesville, GA. It's more like an Eggfest than a BBQ competition because all the competing teams give samples to the public. I am not affiliated with the event, just thought others might enjoy.

Saturday April 24th is the event. Register to compete by April 12th.

A couple interesting things about Gainesville:
* Greens Grocery Store, about 1 mile from downtown, cooks food on a Big Green Egg every day for sale to the public.
* Downtown Gainesvlle has a walking scale model of the solar system. The Sun is downtown, and by the time you get to Neptune and Pluto, you are at the lake. Link to maps and info:

    Hummmmmmm! This sounds like something I should attend. Wonder if I could come up with a 'Chicken Ranch on Wheels' and bring my 'Girls' over for some fun?

    Maybe not. Wouldn't want to upset Greens Grocery Store.
