Don't know about that one, but when in SC I go to Piggly Wiggly and buy a case of Shealys sauce. Very thin, vinegar and pepper based.

I can get several kinds here in the Charlotte area. The one I have now is vinegar, Apple cider vinegar, Sugars, tomato paste(very little), crushed red pepper, garlic, onion and other spices that they do not list.

It is from Harris Teeter. Called East Carolina vinegar pepper sauce. I am the only one in my family that will eat it so it goes a long way.

I made some pulled pork last week and the Police officer stated he liked the vinegar sauce, so I made him a plate and he was very happy. You have to take care of the law.

    Richard,

I used to live about 30 minutes from there it is good stuff. We have all of there types in the Grocery here.

The great thing about living in Charlotte, a 100 miles either way you have 3-4 types of sauce. South Mustard(
Columbia, SC), east(Lexington, NC tomato vinager), Pee Dee area Vinegar Pepper, west Tomato Based(Western NC).

Great to be in the Cackalackies.

Well you have a friend in Charlotte area, if ever in a pinch let me know. I went to the SCE&G lineman training school in Denmark before they moved it up by the dam at lake Murray. Have you gone over to Blackville and went to the Menonite place for lunch?

I may have, a dear friend recently passed and he was in the educational system in that area for many years. Columbia law graduate. We used to go to many of his favorite restaurants in SC, Barnswell (sp) Blackville and some others.

I am pretty sure I will be coming down the the fest next year like this, since I got the XL demo unit and will be one year anny. Heck i might even have the courage to cook up something. Need to start experimenting. I think my wife has decided that see doesn't need to cook anymore.

It was great meeting you there, and if you need anything my inlaws live in New Smyrna, I can either ship or send with them and see when you could meet up.
