60lbs of butts for Scout Banquet

I am in the middle of a cook for our Blue and Gold Banquet tonight. I am doing butts for 125 people and snapped some pictures of the cook. Most of the butts are in the plateau and should be done after lunch today. Rubbed with a blend of JH Sugar Maple and Swamp Venom. The wood is Apple, courtesy of Rusty Rooster. Cook temp is right at 240 for both eggs

I put them on at 7 last night, so I am at 15 hours now at 240*. I think I have 2 hours to go. They are hitting 175-180 now

They were getting sleep, unlike their master. I am good on manual settings of the L. The XL is still a little off for me, setting wise. It called for rain so I left the guru in the house.

Not a tremendous amount of smoke. I put a few chunks scattered in the lump. It has smoked off and on all night.

The rain was the determining factor there. I don't mind getting wet, but didn't want to chance the cyber-Q

This is the 3rd year cooking for the banquet. I have offered to do other stuff but they like the butts. It is also easy on the budget.
