Wings & Pizza

Saturday night I made wings and pizza for the first time. For the most part it went well. I made 3 types of wings, Sriracha, Bloody Mary, and a Louisana Licker sauce. All were very good but the Sriracha suace hands down was the favorite. When I was making the sauce and I tasted it I did not like it at all but cooked on the wings they were great.
Pizza's, well I struggled there. I couldn't find my pizza stone so I ended up using a pizza pan, things were looking good but I went into the house for a minute and came back the it was over cooked. The second one I kept an eye on it but I think the pan was too hot and the bottom burnt and the dough wasn't cooked. I can see how good they will be once I master the cooking process. I made my homemade sauce which was ok, a little sweet for me. I will try it again this weekend.
No pictures because I can't figure how to put them on here.

You won't be earning any points from the wife by burning her pizza. haha (shaking head) I'll be at the # I gave you after 4:15. I can help you geting started with photos too. Once you get the mechanics figured out, it's easy-peasy.
Sorry that you're having some learning curve issues.

Interesting about the Siracha, I haven't tried it on wings for that very reason.......hmmm, may have to give it another chance. -

Thanks Mark, I'm ticked off at myself because normally I can figure computer things out better than I can cook...lolYou won't be earning any points from the wife by burning her pizza. haha (shaking head) I'll be at the # I gave you after 4:15. I'm trying so hard to get my wife to love the egg and you're right I end up burning the darn thing. Try the Siracha wings, seriously I'm a believer. I had 5 people try them and that was their favorite. Taste much better when it's on the sauce.
My other problem is getting the egg lit. Every time I've had a terrible time. I bought the lump this time from Walmart. I forget the type but other people have talked about it but I still had to unblock the vents. I even bought the 91% alcohol to try that and it never stayed lit. Once I get it going it's great and I'm sure eventually I will grow more hair on my arms. It get hots when you open the lid, even slowly.
I made a mistake after I cooked the wings I turned the platesetter over on the grill and had a huge flareup. I learn something new everyday. I'm not giving up
