No conflict here! I had them together and they were delicious!

I had a leftover Cornish game hen breast and decided to make a nice chicken and Caesar salad for lunch. My recipe for the Caesar salad dressing is one I've been perfecting over the years and naturally uses a raw egg, crushed garlic cloves and several flats of diced up anchovies. I topped it off with the pickled asparagus spears.
I'm no rabbit, but this was a great lunch!

Sounds good but do not like anchovies

I have a chicken on as I sit here. Making a batch of chicken salad for me and my parents. I like using the roasted chicken meat better than poaching all the flavors out of it.

It still looks great. No you are not a rabbit but the salad looks great.

Those pickled asparagus spears go well in bloody marys as well.

A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is leaning against the headboard smoking a cigarette, with a satisfied smile on its face.
The egg, looking a bit pissed off, grabs the sheet, rolls over, and says, "Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question!"LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA -
