Pork loin buckboard bacon

The pork tenderloin buckboard bacon went so fast, so I decided to try a pork loin. Used 3rd eye's recipe and used Mesquite for smoke. The loins took a lot more trimming in terms of prep work. After the cure, seasoned with steak seasoning; cooked at 200-220 on a raised grid. Great flavor!

When I use loins for Buckboard Bacon, I split them lengthwise so they are more like the diameter of a tenderloin, good stuff. -RP

Wow, great input. Got to try splitting the loins length wise.
Thanks!
