anyone uses Stoker for small or medium egg?

Received my stoker order with blowers for both eggs (large and small) recently. The large blower fits easily but the small adapter seems too big and the only way I can force it on is to remove both vent doors and slide in from the right end. I suspect they shipped me a medium instead of small.

If anyone has a blower for small or medium, can you confirm the dimension of the blower adapter please? Many thanks.

Gary

i have the guru but i do use it on my small. the small adapter will not go on to the small unless both doors are removed. and i would think yours would be the same. with the guru the large and med, adapter is the same thing except for the large there is a slider.. sorry this is proabably is not much help. but if you can find a way for it to work i would stick with it ;)

Thanks Terry, you're probably right. To be sure, I'll ask Rocks and if that's the way it is then I'll try replacing it with a smaller piece of rigid aluminum. Hopefully it'll snap into place as easily as the large.

I looked at the picture again and realise a smaller plate won't work because the blower housing's height is an exact fit. So the only way to install is removing vent doors and slide in from the right :(

    that is how mine is..

it does not "slip"into position. i have to put it in the track to the far right and slide it left...

does youre work if you slide it in from the right?

if so i guess the only problem is if yours is in s nest then i can imagin it is a pain in the a$$.. oh well all it will cost you is a phone call to the stoker people tomorrow.. i have heard they are easy to deal with ;)

Yes, it works when I slide in from the right end of the tracks but it's a tight fit. Thankfully, unlike the large, my small is housed in a SS cart (not nest). Already sent Rocks an email but they'll probably tell me that's the way small works.

I have a large & small but have not run the small yet. For the small, I found I have to remove the sliding door and screen by sliding them out the right side, then sliding the adaptor in from the right as well. It's obviously a little more complicated than the large to hook up, but it appears it will work fine.
  • Same with the Guru on the Small and Mini. Slide in from the right - works mightyfine.

Rocks confirmed that removing both vent doors and sliding in the blower from the right end of the tracks is the proper way for Small. It's easier to live with this inconvenience since my Small is not in a nest. Thanks to all for chiming in.
