you know what, i tried uploading to photobucket a few times and every time it shows me the "photo not available" image like when you delete a photo and try to view it through a link.
it's entirely possible that my virus softare is blocking an upload, if that's what you are seeing. because my photos never upload anymore -
That sucks. What other hosting sites would you recommend?
-
if you get a pop up that looks like antivirus software with 2010 written in it, dont even touch the box with the clicker. googled it and saw lots with the photobucket upload problem and this startingfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Fish, I'm no expert but have had great results with "spybot". It is a free download, just google it if you are interested.
-
ive tried avg, avast, malwarebytes, spybot, i think one called spyblaster. going to try some things inm seeing in geekpolice now. if its coming from photobucket it could get bad just not sure if thatas even possiblefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

You could always reformat, as long as you have everything backed up. It's a pain in the ass but definately works.
-
did you try microsoft security essentials? my IT guy has gone over to that completely, and it's free
-
Using those you should have taken care of any problem.
There is a free virus/malware program from TrendMicro which is very good.
http://free.antivirus.com/ This is a free tool but you must read the screens or it will take you to a pay version.

one of the problems i have is an older engineering program thats got some funky encrypted key lock stuff on it, was a real pain getting it loaded years ago and if i lose it it will cost me somewhere near 10k to get it back, almost thinking leave this the way it is and add a second puter for everything else. going to try geek police and then see what the guy that put this thing together for me can do with it. i stopped upgading the engineering software a few years back when they started wanting 2200 a year for the upgrades, im pretty sure they wont help me with installing the new codes to start up the old program. arent these things supposed to make life easier, more economical etc etc etcfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Uh Oh..... Could this mean the overseas hackers are now targeting Food Porn sites?!?!?

Microsoft nw has their own software and it is free. Microsoft Security Essentials. It is pretty good and can auto update and auto scan.
download here:

Got that one on my work computer a few weeks back. Bad news stuff. Can't figure where I got it.
-
i havent tried it yet, almost seems to me that it is killing the antivrus startups as i down load them. it seemed to kill the system restore feature right off and ive always had luck just using thatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Our IT folks told me that I would lose everything when they took my computer. One guy saved it, but the 2010 thing is bad. I see now that I could have gotten it at photobucket, because It's likely I was there that day.

no go, im system pack 1, do they make an earlier versionfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

thats what im seeing, photobucket.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

well. microsoft security essentials is put out by, well, microsoft. it's going to (likely) be more aware of exploits than any of the others.
download and install it before you pay someone to do anything -
just tried to download and im off by one generation with the system pack 1, it only works with pack 2 and newerfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
BTW, our IT folks tried everything under the sun to no avail. Were going to just wipe it clean when the guy figured out how to save my stuff. Did have to get a new computer, though.
-
Hope they get that cleaned up. That's where all my stuff is.
-
and as luck would have it, i bought this system with a pack 2 origionally and had to have them down grade it a gen because one program i do need wouldnt run on the newer program :pinch:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

something definitely is wrong a PB - I just uploaded some pictures, but now can't get the img addresses to pop up in order to copy and paste. OTOH I didn't have a virus attack either - at least according to Norton.Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

I had a bad one a few moths ago. It was killing my downloads for all the virus search products I was trying. I ended up loading spybot onto a jump drive from another computer and then starting it from the jump drive in my infected computer. It did work.
Just another thing to try.
Good luck,

i dont know how it enters but it got right past avg, just watch for a popup that looks legit as something that your spyware found, im getting all sorts of them now with this trojan found and that one etc and they look pretty realfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

PB seems to be working fine for me, I just uploaded the two pictures below to test, one gif and one jpg.
Everything seems as it should be. I am going to pull the pictures down a bit later on.
