Super Glue

Per my last post - I took a (small) chunk of ceramic out of my egg trying to pry open the frozen top and bottom lids

Could I Super Glue the little piece back on or should I just chalk it up to a lesson learned? Seems like Super Glue works on Ceramic - just not sure at that high of temp! Also stinks looking a a beautiful green unit with a white spot reminding me of my mistake!

If I do not glue it back on - should I have a memorial and bury the piece in the yard next to my dog or take it out on my boat and bury it at sea?
