The good folks at the CGS sell a 16" carbon steel wok. I know carbon steel is darn good woking material. Anyone here own that particular model. If so, what are the pros/cons? Fit ok in a large BGE?
As always, thanks in advance....

It is perfect for the large BGE. Get the spider to go with it. You will love it.

I just purchased one of these to go along with my AR package. The AR package includes the spider, so I am all set to wok up a storm.
The wok itself seems to be pretty high quality. It is sturdy and well balanced. I am impressed. -
I was looking at that carbon steel wok but two weeks ago I purchased a cast iron Wok on a whim (from another vendor). I now need to order the spider before I can use it. Anyone have any comments on using a cast iron wok vs. the carbon steel model? Thanks

I have a 16" and it fits great in the Large with the spider. I got it about a week ago and have done fried rice twice and stir fry once. High quality!

The carbon steel wok will be much easier to control temperatures. I think you may have a tendency to overcook food with the iron wok.
The solution will be to get the food out of the iron quicker so it doesn't continue to cook.
