Went duck hunting today...

and came home and had to cook chicken! :angry: :laugh: Yep we got had today. Those birds have been shot at so much they are leary of decoys.

Anyway I brined a whole bag of leg qtrs for about 24 hrs and then dried them, added bad byrons, and put them back in the fridge for another 24 hrs. When I got home from hunting tonight I had to get them done, so on the large they went indirect, raised grid, at 400 with some apple chunks. I just pulled them off at 185* and man we couldn't control ourselves. We just had to have one. The rest went in the fridge for tonight. Some will be frozen tomorrow for future meals.
