Chicken Alfredo Pizza

While I was cooking some pizzas that Ginny made we had a little rain.

Then I cooked the Chicken Alfredo Pizza. We learned this recipe from Bobby Q at a BGE cooking class. It is our favorite pizza. I already roasted the chicken, garlic & onions.
Getting ready to put on the BGE

Ready to eat

and the Publix dough did good

Yummo. I know that tasted great, especially since I tasted it last year at Ocala Eggfest!! That was one of the best things there, Kim. My son tasted your Pizza that day and said "it's alot better than yours, mom".
FaithHappily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

i assume that you are using alfredo sauce instead of tomato, looks great. and by the way, love the fine china that you are dining on. have the same pattern at my house.

Out of curiosity, how does the Publix dough taste? Were you happy with it?
-
Outrageous,
BTW where are you in S GA? I am from Albany originally.
Yes that is our Sunday finest cook wear and yes that is Classico Alfredo sauce...we grill the chicken, onions & garlic and then shred it and put it on the pie crust with the Alfredo sauce & Italian cheese blend & pine nuts -
GS,
I like making my own dough but the Publix dough does real well in a pinch. We let it sit out for 2-3 hours and then put olive oil & oregano on it before we put any toppings.
The Publix dough also freezes real well to be used later. -
Kim,
Nice pies! I hope you had your wellyboots on for the cook.

Great looking pie. Chicken Alfredo Za coming to my table soon. We use garlic infused olive oil in lieu of pizza sauce most of the time.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

Awesome! Is this the Publix pre-formed in a circle and plastic wrapper? I tried the kroger's and it turned out good.! You need a boat to stand in at your egg though, lol!

Yes it is in the plastic bag in the Publix deli section. If you don't see it just ask at the bakery. They almost always have it.

Man, that looks good and I bet it taste even better. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like onions. I guess I could make half with and half without.
Thanks for the idea. -
Kim,
That pizza was a work of art. Would love to have had a slice!
