"In the old days" (the old forum) I was quite active for some years under the lackluster handle "bc".

During the transition, my handle was lost, I created a new one that was broken, and eventually gave up. I was one of the very early adopters of the new site and I think my account got into a bad state during site development.

I would very much like to get back into the Egging community but I find that my account seems hopelessly busted. I've tried creating a new one, but I'm told that one already exists associated with my email.

My cry for help is this, can you please delete any account associated with my email (brian@xnz.net) and I'll just start over again. I can verify that I own this email with a quick reply to an email you send me.

    I found a confirmed, active, account for the handle "bc" under the name "Brian C." but a different email address. Is this your account?

    I found also an account using the above email address under the handle "Brian" with a different username. Is this also your account?

    We can get either one going for you. I can update the old "bc" account with the new email address (assuming the old one is no longer valid); and, then send you a password reset -- that should get you going.

    Once you can log in, then you can change your "lack luster" handle if you wish.

    I'll disable the other account after transferring posts to the one you'll use.
