I couldn't help but have a little fun tonight. So Ol' Poor Georgia Redneck Jim is going to show you the finer side of dining. Yep - Chateau Le Lanier was our destination tonight.
The chef started out with some local Pheasant and Ocean Mist Romaine Hearts
After Spatch-de-boning - we were left with some wonderful plump breasts. Sprinkled with a hint of EVOO - fresh ground white and black peppercorns - sea breeze salt - and rosemary...they were ready for the Viking Ultra-Premium T-Series Grill...or what us Georgia boys call the Egg
While the Pheasant cooked over an open flame - homemade croutons on a stainless aluminum foil pan and a hand torn romaine salad with other local vegetables were in waiting
The butler and nanny began work on setting the table with Summer Breeze French China - stainless utensils - and the Italian Crystal Chandelier shining overhead
Oh - the heck with this sophisticated stuff...I raided the company cooler again - bought some boneless chicken - threw on some spices - made some croutons...and plated it on a real plate instead of paper...added a Diet Dew to drink. Dang good Eats!
LJ
PS - my butler and nanny are terrible at keeping house but still get paid daily.

Great looking cook Jim! I love eating grilled chicken breast and salad. One of our favorite here at this house as we are on a quest to maintain our figures!

Very nice! I gotta ask you about that picture on the wall in the pic with your butler and nanny. Can you show me a better pic of it? I think it is the same artist that I have. I'll email you.Molly
