I even converted. -23*C now...feels like -37*C...as if you can feel anything!
They cancelled school today because of the cold. I know there is snow out there that needs to be moved, but when I move it, the wind puts it pack. Futile. -
We're having a heat wave here. It is only -8 F. this morning. With a bright sun and a blue sky...We are headed for above 0
-
We're cold too here at the Chicken Ranch. 27° F, or -2.7 C for you 10-users. The 'Girls' don't like it one bit and I'm not about to go warm 'em up.
Gonna get even colder before it's over.
Hang in there.
Spring "Family Jewelry In Jeopardy" Chicken
Spring Texas USA -
It's cold in Texas as well......It was 19 degrees this morning. Yea Yea, I know that's a warm front for some of you guys. But, this is cold for us! My dogs won't get out of their beds since I turned on their heating pads. Hubby won't cook on the egg because he thinks it's too cold! :(

Where in Texas?
Spring "It's A Big State" Chicken -
I live in Allen, just north of Dallas.
-
minus5 c right now, was thinking this winter feels warmer than usual up here in newngland, didnt even grab my jacket this morning :laugh:fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
-
I would'a thought it would be much colder than that up there. Anything below 40° here is cause for concern. Probably be 19° out where we live north of downtown.
Stay warm and hope to see you at the Texas Eggfest in April.
Spring "Real Hot Is Better Than Real Cold" Chicken -

It's a good day for smoking cheese.
-
But y'all pay extra for that.
Spring "Warm Weather Is Expensive" Chicken -
It's cold here, only up to 20ºC here so far. The weather report for the weekend is "miserable". They aren't trying to sugar coat it this time. LOL.
Have a great day and keep warm,
Gator

I just stocked up on some WI cheese that was on sale. I was wondering about smoking in these cold temps. May have to experiment with temps a bit.

DALE -
hahahahaha, se dice "hace un pinche frio culero"
just don-t say it in front of your grandmother... heheh
cheers!! -
Yep, that's So. Cal. for you. Our weather here is evidently so boring that a local weather forecaster retired - at least that was the headline in what passes for our local paper.
We do have seasons here in So. Cal., but they are not what the rest of the country is used to. Instead of winter, spring, summer, and fall, we have fire, flood, earthquake, and hot.
Hope all of you stay warm and are able to dig out soon. -
Yo tambien! 16 here tonight.

Adam:
I did a truck-load of cheese just before Christmas (mostly as gifts, but I have some too) with outdoor temps. in the mid teens and very low twenties! It worked really well…
I did 1/2 lb. bricks on the grid, atop the plate setter, using the “caveman” cold smoke method.
If I have any left, and if I can make it at all (still that work schedule thing going on), I’ll bring some to our “frozen fest”!
I hope to be able to pull that off! Even if only as a day trip  -
Pato....you are my inspiration.........Un abrazo!!!!!
-
inspiration?? with this cold??/ for what? hehehe
igualmente un abrazoooo!!
cheers!
