Not sure - I know his family has an Egg and use it often. His cousin played at UAB (6'5" - 290#), other cousin had Padres wanting him, dad played with Packers, I played at Western Carolina, uncle played at Furman, sister played at Clemson...
As you can see - we're a sports family.

Nice, very nice...

You can do the same thing in the egg, clean platesetters, pizza stones or the inide of the egg itself, just fill it with lump, light it up,leave top and bottom vents wide open and let er burn.Clean as a whistle.May toast the gasket but so what, they are useless anyway!

Is that pizza from the Egg - looks awesome. Nothing like alot of cheese! Clogs you up but tastes so good.

Ya, it was my 6th pizza yesterday. For friends and family. Whole Wheat Dough on that one. Here's my first.

Is that an XL? Boy that looks like a huge pizza stone!
-
LGE with a 14" stone.. It's all in the angel.

You can cook it in there using self clean temp of
800-900 dge. Thats the temp used for real pizza from Naples, many Ney York and east coast places. There are several here in Chicago as well.
I do my pizzas on the BGE at 900. You can reach it easily with a load of good lump filled to the top.
Most Italian pizzaolias use wood or coal for fuel to reach these temps.
I will be trying coal soon as well for the authentic taste.
The trick is the streching of the dough, you cant roll it.

Thats the way pizza was invented, and is still the best as far as my taste goes. -
How far south?
