Why can't I do a forum search?

I am new here, and instead of asking a lot of dumb questions, I want to search old topics.
But when I type in the search box, no matter what I type in there, it says there are zero (0) responses. I even tried "best rub", "rub", spareribs - no matter what I type in the search, it brings up zero responses. I hate to start new threads for all my stupid questions...

there is a secret to it :laugh: click on the search box, dont enter anything, and hit enter, a new search engine appears
