Is there a good/decent way to do a pizza without the peel?

Not a problem if you use parchment paper under it.Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Put the pizza on parchment paper on a Cookie sheet or the back of a sheet pan. Use the cookie sheet as a peel and slide the parchment paper with pizza on it unto your hot pizza stone in the egg.

Sure 'nuff! I build mine on parchment paper, slide it onto a flat (without sides) cookie sheet, then just slide it onto pizza stone, parchment paper and all. After 4 or 5 minutes, I remove the parchment paper by holding up an edge of the pizza with a spatula and just slide it right out! Removing the paper will give you better crust formation. BTW, I have a peel and never use it!

Agree whole heartedly on this one. I have a "super pizza peel" that I use for wetter dough, but the way you mention, I do all the time with excellent results!!
