looks like some good deli beef, what cut did you usefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

It works pretty good. Although I don't see how I can do a larger brisket on this thing. I got it for Xmas. They are pretty decent buy at Costco for 50 bucks.

I just grabbed a small sirloin tip roast that was on sale at the local grocer this week. My first try at roast beef was great. It's fast and easy.

my brother let me have his waring slicer this past christmas eve i spent a good portion of the morning making roast beef and slicing it thin for a gathering we had over here.. the berings started to give me trouble. it was the ones on the tray that slided so it made my job harder..
it is a pretty good slicer but i think i will go with something else when i use my money. the last one i wore out most of the parts went into the dishwasher which was a dream when i get another one i am going to find one that has a few more parts that go into the dishwasher..
the beef looks excellent i cooked mine too long since we were going to have some people over to eat that are a little squemish :pinch:happy eggin

That looks like really great beef.
I have the Waring slicer too. My only complaint is that I can't do large cuts of meat on it. I did slice some bacon I smoked a few weeks ago. It worked okay, but next time I will parfreeze the bacon before slicing so there is less mess. Also, the machine seemed to heat up a bit because I was doing a lot of slicing. Seems like it is pretty light duty, but it is a good tool for the money. -
Yea, large cuts won't do but seems great for smaller jobs like this. Will try a small homemade pastrami next time

Hey Chrono!
Great pics. Luv my slicer too. I make my own lunch meat, slice cheese, cut up jerky strips, buckboard bacon and the list goes on.
Good luck! -
Roast beef looks great.
I bought a similar slicer for $5, agree with everyone's experience with it ...
