OK, here's my first post. We've had our large BGE for about four weeks now and love it but the last couple of times weve cooked on it the top damper has fallen off when the dome lid is opened all the way. It rocks on the lid and doesn't seem to seat well. I surprisingly saw only one other post on this and they said the dealer agreed that theirs didn't seat well and replaced the entire egg.
Am I doing something wrong? It's pretty gunked up and the grease buildup may be causing it to slide. Any help would be appreciated.
