Cheese smoking tips

Going to try smoking some cheese for the holidays and was looking for advice. This will be my first attempt. So any help on setup, smoke time/type, and temperature would be appreciated. I have a medium egg and a DigiQ 2. It's about 50 degrees today, can the digiQ do it alone or do I need a special setup (e.g., coffee can)?
Thanks
Thanks
