Chinese five spice, ginger powder, tamri soy sauce, cracked pepper, canola oil and tender little wings.

A little sweet chili sauce on the side and.... this plate is now history. :P

Clay - is there ANYTHING you do that isn't a work of art? You really amaze me and I'm dead serious!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Thanks. Really quite simple, basic ingredients and a hot wok. Wings were wonderful.

Thanks Molly. It's 5 days before Christmas and there's a lot of 'stuff' to cook.

It appears you are on the spider doing this. I am contemplating getting one for X-Mas. Is it difficult to wok in the egg using one as far as the heat escaping from around the wok and searing your hands?
-
Yes, I'm using the spider. It works great with a large wok. Your right, the wok gets very hot so I use leather welding gloves to pick up or to hold the wok steady as I stir.

I recommend the spider, a well made stainless steel ring with legs that not only supports a round bottom wok but is also very useful for indirect setups with a pan or pizza stone. I use the spider often. Actually, I'm thinking of getting another one.

Yea the cook its self is not that hard but the way you DO it and PRESENT it is. Just a great set up shot of the finnaly plate!
-
That looks great, how long did you cook the wings? Did you add the onions, carrots, and celery with the wings or after?
I'm about to embark on my first wok cook so hence the questions. Thanks. -
Yum...I bet the snow tent smelled great that night!
-
Clay, you've combined two of my favorites, wings and asian. Looks delicious!
