Posted last night stating I was riding out the MD blizzard with the egg burning and a butt on at midnight. Set the Guru to 220 and went to bed. Woke up at 6 to check ... lots of snow and 30 mph winds ... nice! STILL snowing ... cooked the 8.5 lb butt for 16 hrs ..... oh man it was gooooooooooood!!!! Well worth braving the elements.

Sorry for all the pics ... nothing else to do when you are snowed in!

All egg photos are under 'shelter' but the high winds caused snow to pile up everywhere!

Injected with own sauce ... ready to rub.

Used home made rub ... wrapped in plastic wrap and placed outside (34 deg) for two hours prior to cooking.

Up at 6 am ... this is what I had to work with ... stashed the cyberQ in a tupperware ... about 6" of snow thus far.

16 hrs later ... snow has doubled ... butt is ready to pull.
